These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Kami Development (“we”, “us”) covering the LockIN mobile app and this website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Using LockIN

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for the device you install it on and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least [13 / 16 / 18 — confirm] years old, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.

2. Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription (“Pro”). Subscriptions purchased in the app are billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms; cancellations and refunds for those purchases are handled by them. Subscriptions purchased on this website are billed by Stripe and can be managed at Manage subscription. [Specify trial length, renewal terms and refund policy.]

3. What LockIN does and does not promise

LockIN is a tool to help you manage your own screen time. It relies on features of your phone’s operating system and can be affected by OS updates, permissions you change, or device settings. We do not guarantee that a block cannot be bypassed, and the Service is not a substitute for medical or psychological advice.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or resell the Service.
  • Do not use the Service to monitor another person without their consent.
  • Do not upload unlawful or harmful content through any community features.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code and content, belongs to Kami Development or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any ownership of it.

6. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app and your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. [Lawyer to tailor to the governing jurisdiction.]
